Dr. Daniel Kulman

Serving the Petoskey community since 1995. Voted Best of the Northwest multiple years.

Dr. Kulman grew up in lower Michigan. A three-sport athlete, he spent his Saturday mornings in the chiropractic office in Romeo, getting an adjustment to be ready for the next game. His love of sports, and knowing how much a good adjustment helped him, made becoming a chiropractor an easy decision.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University in East Lansing and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois.

He and his wife, Julianne, have two sons, Weston and Sawyer.

We specialize in

Two core treatments, tailored to what your body needs.

Manipulation

Chiropractor performing a spinal adjustment

Chiropractic manipulation is the application of pressure to a person's spine or other parts of the body by a qualified chiropractor. This pressure lets the chiropractor adjust and correct alignment.

It aims to reduce pain and improve mechanical function, or the way you move.

Spinal traction

Traction table in the treatment room

What is it? A form of decompression therapy that relieves pressure on the spine. It can be done manually or mechanically, and is used for herniated discs, sciatica, degenerative disc disease, pinched nerves and many other back conditions.

What does it do? It stretches the spine to take pressure off compressed discs, which straightens the spine and improves the body's ability to heal itself.
